Abstract

Child protection through data collected by P2TP2A in Aceh province shows the concern that child sexual
violence, as long as it is an iceberg of cases revealed in the community. Implementation of Islamic Shariah

of authority to the Aceh government to manage its own region based on local wisdom, one of which is the
specificity of post-birth Aceh Qanun Number 6 Year 2014 About Law Jinyat. The implementation of the
qanun jinayat against children's sexual violence creates confusion over the application of child protection
legislation which is seen from the penalty sanctions against perpetrators of sexual violence that have been
decided by the Syar'iah Court in Aceh when compared to national child protection legislation.
